Today's card is for a friend of my hubby's who likes all things history so this is what I came up with for him. The images and sentiments are from the same stamp set, I stamped them onto my pattern paper. Our stamp group is doing a challenge to use up our old paper pads, I think I was able to use up quite a few papers from this pack.

The papers, the stamps and those deckled edge dies really go together perfectly! It is a great idea to stamp on the patterned paper and not just use it for backgrounds to use up more of it! Very nice card!
What a clever idea to use up paper pads (Lord knows I need to do something like this!). And, what a fabulous card these panels made! I'm sure he will treasure your creativity!! Nicely done my friend!

This is fabulous! My dad would have loved this card. Sorry I've been MIA lately. The weather has been decent, so I've been spending a lot of time outside. Warm weather goes by way too quickly for me not to get out and enjoy it.
