My stamp groups Christmas challenge for this Month is to do watercolor. Here are 3 I managed to get done, I can't believe how long watercoloring takes me and I still am not sure they turn out all that well. When I used the Aqua pens, I scribbled them on my glass mat and then picked up the color with my water brush.
- Woodware - Fluffy Robin stamp, watercolor w/ Daniel Smith and Spectrum Aqua pens, used the Haze Blue Zig marker for around the image
- PPD - Distressed Edge Rectangle die inked around edges with fossilized Amber
- K&co. - Blue Awning paper
- Starform - Merry Christmas sticker
- Northwoods Rubber stamp, used versafine black ink on watercolor paper
- Spectrum Aqua markers
- Delicata - Golden Glitz ink around the edges
- Starform - Merry Christmas silver sticker
I tried no line coloring with this last one, first stamping with Antique Linen Distress ink. Then used Spectrum water color pencils to color it.
- Stampendous - Pinecone decoration, stamped with Distress Antique linen, used Spectrum Aqua pencils to color
- PPD - Curvy Coved Rectangle die
- Sizzix - Embossing folder
- Country tags Chipboard 3D
- Nuvo Crystal drops - Pale Gold, applied to embossing and stamped image
We were blessed with having my sister and brother in law come down and visit for Thanksgiving, then we had to do some shopping to find a new washing machine that died on me the day before Thanksgiving, so I am a bit behind on posting to the blog and visiting your blogs but hope to get to it soon :)
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
Connie

Three nice cards.
So pleased you had your sister and brother-in-law visit for Thanksgiving.
Hope you are pleased with your new washing machine.
All the best Jan
They are all beautiful, Connie xoxo
So wonderful that your sister and brother in law could join you for Thanksgiving. Hope you are happy with your new washing machine. The watercolour cards look so gentle and soft, they are fabulous.

Hi Connie!
I'm so glad you had a nice Thanksgiving with family. But so sorry to hear about your washing machine. Boo! Love all of your cards but I think my fave is the chickadees. I just love them. ;) I hope you have a very blessed week ahead. xoxo
Oh, I love your pretty birds and the Christmas swag! I'm a Woodware fan, so the first fat and fluffy bird is really appealing to me. Beautiful cards. I'm slow at watercoloring, too. I'm so sorry about your washing machine, Connie. Heck of a time for that to happen.
All three of your cards are fabulous. Great job with the water coloring. I think I have done a grand total of ONE card with water coloring. I didn't like the way it came out and I gave up. (But maybe you have inspired me to give it a try again!)
I'm glad to hear you had a nice Thanksgiving. It's a shame your washing machine broke down. You mastered watercolour. I hope you can see the beauty through my eyes.
So beautiful and what a fabulous lot of cards and image/die too, very exquisite ♥
Three great cards here Connie! Don't sell yourself short on your water coloring skills, these are fabulous! I'm slow at water coloring too and don't attempt it nearly enough. Glad to hear you had a nice thanksgiving with family. Too bad about your washer though.
Oh I think all 3 are perfect! It's great to jump into something you haven't done a lot of! These are beautiful! You picked some pretty images and created wonderful designs! I adore that Fluffy Robin!
All three are beautiful, but I'm partial to the first one. What a sweet birdie, and you colored it so well!
Beautiful Connie, I love the water colouring and gorgeous fluffy robin, and love the group amongst the pine branches and lovely pine cone..
Luv CHRISSYxx
Sweet cards.
I am in awe of your water coloring abilities. I am not great at it but I sure love to try. Your colors turn out so much more vibrant than mine. Three wonderful cards.
