My cardmaking group is doing their Christmas challenges again and each of us take a week to share what we have done to hopefully inspire others to get their Christmas cards made. Our challenge for the month of January is use our sentiment as the focal.
My challenge for everyone is to use those big letters that we have had from years ago for our scrapbooking and use them on our cards. I have these thick chipboard letters and I went through them trying to see if I could come up with a Christmas sentiment and I had enough letters for NOEL :)
I made another mini slimline card.
- K&co. - Roam Chipboard Alphabet
- Spellbinders - Resplendent Rectangles die
- Graphic 45 - Christmas Emporium paper
- Die-versions - Holly die w/gold sequins
Maybe I have inspired you to give it a try, using up our old goodies and getting one more card closer to having them ready for this Christmas.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
Connie

Very nice Connie. Don't you just love slimline?

Beautifully done, Connie! If you keep going making your Christmas cards, you'll be all set for next year. I'm always inspired by you.

It's beautiful, Connie! xoxo
Card-making and also candle-making are two things I'm interested in doing this year. I love stuff like this. Love the idea of BIG LETTERS. What fun. Cheers and Happy Playing, Ivy.
Those are pretty letters, Connie, and you turned out a festive Christmas card. I love the Spellbinders mat and the papers combo. Gosh, I guess it pays to save everything. You know how I am about purging. My room is too small, but that's probably a good thing.
I love the papers you used on this card. The foil in the Noel really makes that stand out on the card.
I really liked the idea of applying the letters. And I commend that Connie has a group that they can share ideas and techniques to work with. Hugs
