Sparkle markers

The last time I shared my new sparkle markers I got for Christmas I used them to color a full background, this time I used them to color these flowers, hopefully you can see the shimmer. I first colored the areas I wanted darker with the chosen color marker and then I took the clear sparkle pen to do the lighter shading and I think it worked pretty good.

The background of the flowers were done by sponging distress ink with my homemade cloud stencil and then stamped the stems, cut out each of the flowers by hand and popped them up with foam tape.

Autumn Leaves -- Flower stamps
Spellbinders -- Labels 20 die
Echo park -- Fine and Dandy paper
Spectrum Sparkle markers -- Tea cup, Macroon and Peony
Recollections - gems

We had a great time of crafting, well a lot of talking Monday evening and everyone is looking forward to getting together once a month.  It's good to have some time together like that and see what everyone is working on.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today!!

Glad your get-together was a success! Fun!
We all need a bit of sparkle in the winter! It is so grey here.
I love all your previous cards, too, the sunshiney one for your niece and the Woodsy combinations are so appealing ~ I would buy them too if I were a card-maker, I love woods! Birch trees, especially.
Blessings!

Oh, the sparkles must be so pretty in real life. It's hard to see it on the photo... but the flowers are lovely no matter what. The sponged background looks really nice.

I honestly would never think to color like this with sparkle markers, but it looks amazing! The flowers are super cute, anyway, but with all the sparkle -- fabulous! It's been a long time since I crafted with friends. It was always so much fun.
