Autumn wishes

Back to Birthday cards with Autumn theme :)  As we got our first snowfall of the season last night I feel like Autumn has passed us by way too quickly, so we will just keep it going here on the blog :)

I have been seeing more torn cards here lately, thought I would use it on this card, adding a bit of ink to the torn edges.  I had some of these leaves left over from the Memory Box grove leaves die and they matched the ones in the stamp so I added a few falling onto the card.

Taylored Expression - From my window stamp set
DCWV - Amber Autumn and Old World Stack papers
Spellbinders - Decorative Labels Eight die
Gina Marie - Birthday Words sentiment
Memory Box - Grove leaves

Hope you are enjoying a fun and creative weekend,

Connie

What a sweet image. Love how you framed it, it's like looking out the window on a Fall day in your own backyard. And I love the tearing of your Designer Paper. Great design!

Connie,
I agree, fall went by too fast! It was cold here yesterday (28 degrees in the morning) and last night it really felt like snow although it was rain.... not quite read for all of that!

Love the fall scene outside the window on this card. Wishing that was the view from my window! Beautiful card! Stopping by to catch up on some missed cards!

Connie, I love the little fall image on your card. I like how the leaves flow outside the frame. The designer paper is beautiful and I like your design of tearing it.

I wish I could see some snow! My part of Florida provides one season and it is called "HOT"! LOL.

That's the cutest stamp, framed up so prettily! Love the autumn paper, too, and how you added the sprinkling of tiny leaves that blew in the wind right out of the picture. I always think fall gets shortchanged by winter. It's not fair!

What a nice image and I really like how you did the corner with the sentiment. i agree, it does seem like winter now already and yet it still seems like we should be celebrating autumn.

I love the torn edges, Connie. By inking them, they almost look a bit charred. Love it!
