Over at the Memory Box Challenge Blog the challenge this month was to use white as the focal of your card. The first thing I thought of was a Kraft background, I just love that combo and don't use it very often. I picked this die because I thought it would make a lovely swag to go across the card.
I started off by inking around the edges with white ink and leaving the center so that the die would pop nicely against it. The die has been layered 3 times to give it a little more depth and I topped it off with some pearls.
- Memory Box - Seraphine Laurel die
- Tim Holtz - Clippings sticker book for sentiment
- white ink
- Kaisercraft - pearls
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by,
Connie

Lovely MB dies Connie, sure is a great focal point...xx
This is a lovely and elegant card, Connie. The swags of flowers are stars of the show. The touch of white ink around the border adds a lovely dimension. Doing this really does lead the eyes to the centre and those pretty flowers.
So pretty and delicate.
I love kraft and white together, and your card is absolutely beautiful with those pretty white flower swags!
This is so pretty and elegant Connie. The white flowers and vines with the pearls make a lovely swag. The white ink around the edges is a great way to draw your eye inward. Beautifully done!
So elegant xoxo
You knocked this challenge right out of the park. All that white on Kraft is so pretty.
You rocked out this challenge. All that white on your Kraft is just so pretty
It does make for a lovely swag, and you got such movement by placing where you did. Love the subtle layers and your pretty Kraft and shaded background. Glad you remembered to post it! ;)
What a brilliant idea, Connie! First of all, I love the white on kraft, but also the swag idea. You know, I bought this die set because of you and I really have enjoyed it
