Prayers and Thoughts

A lady in our church fell on one of her daily walks and broke her hip, she had just retired from working in the nursery of our church for 43 years.  I had to let her know that she was in my prayers and I had just been given this stamped sentiment a few days earlier.

  • Hero Arts - Prayers and Thoughts stamp
  • Spellbinders - Majestic Labels 25 die
  • K&co. - K-ology Hannah paper
  • Tim Holtz - Funky Floral #3 dies

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,

Connie

Oh no! Isn't that just the way it goes? I hope your friend soon heals completely, without any repercussions, Connie. That die is one of my faves - thanks for reminding me to get it out of my stash and get creative wit it! It's lovely, Connie!

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I hope she has a quick and full recovery. It's no way to spend the early days of retirement. She'll appreciate your pretty and thoughtful card. I love the dies, particularly the larger funky flower.

this is so pretty and heartfelt, Connie. I'm sure your friend appreciates your thoughtfulness. Sorry I've been MIA. I've been in CA visiting our son, daughter-in-love and meeting our beautiful little granddaughter. Just trying to catch up on blog visits. Hope you're doing well.

Oh my, the poor thing! My Mom used to work in our Church's Daycare, on a field trip to the local garden, she was tripped by a child and broke her elbow, now she has pins and screws. I totally feel for your church friend. This is a lovely card. I also have that Spellbinders die, you have used it magnificently here. Loving that big bold font and sentiment--so perfect! And your pretty posies too! Not a great way to start your retirement. :(
