Zoom Card

Our stamp group had a zoom meeting last month and I forgot to share my card.  I really need to share them shortly after because I totally have forgotten what technique we did on the front.  I know we used 3 inks and a stencil but can't quite remember what we did.

  • Tim Holtz - Wildflower stems #1, Wildflower stems#2 dies
  • Distress inks - Rustic wilderness, Fossilized Amber and Faded jeans
  • Fun Stampers Journey - Flower Power stencil
  • Inkadinkado - For the birds stamp set for inside flaps
  • Inkadinkado - Spring is here for inside squares
  • Martha Stewart - tag punch
  • ODBD - Mini tag sentiment stamp
  • Fiskars - Essential Sayings sentiment stamp on inside
For the inside I believe we cut a 10 inch piece of cardstock, it should be a light wait because this gives a lot of bulk to the inside of your card.  Score piece at the 2, 3, 4, 5,6 inches. We were to have the square pieces cut with stamps on them, and we could do what we wanted on the two sides.

another view to see the square stamps a little better.

I will be hand delivering this card it is a little bulky to send through the mail.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by,

Connie

connie, i laughed at this, i can never remember what pictures i have shared. i have to go back through my blog and see if i have used certain ones. and i so get that you might forget the technique you use!!

what a cute card...i think it is one card but i almost thought it was two!!

ps...we lucked out so much watching the fireworks. it was so hot here too and i was so tired i did not want to go. but when we got to the beach a cold front came in and it really cooled off. and we got a great parking spot which i believed would be impossible. all the stars alined and the show was beautiful!! i was glad we went. we can see a lot from our house too, but chuck really wanted to go right by the beach. my next door neighbor lit them off too, we were in bed so i did not see them but his went until 11:30...i was not thrilled!!

I love your card! Thanks for sharing. We swiped the 3 colors of ink heavily over the card stock. Then we placed the stencil over the inked card and sponged black ink over the stencil. It gives kind of a Joseph's Coat effect.
