It is so hard for me to do the boys that are turning 18, they aren't kids they aren't men just yet, well in my eyes anyway. I got this present die in my Crafters companion advent calendar and thought it would work great for this birthday card when combined with the sentiment .
- Hot off the press - Cardmakers, Birthday Card Quotes, inking
- Spellbinders - A2 Distressed Edges die
- Crafter's Companion- Gift die from Advent calendar
- Crate Paper - DIY shop paper
- Die Versions - Stitched Nesting stars die
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today,
Connie

I think it is perfect, Connie! They try to act so tough at that age, but deep down they like those sweet, sentimental gestures! Love the 'conversation' shapes. Hope you are staying safe and warm as we wait for spring! Hugs xo K
Yes, this is an awesome masculine card, they are so difficult for me too, yet you have pulled it off beautifully errr handsomely here! The gift package looks great and I adore that Celebrate Banner! Perfect!
It's perfect xoxo
I think you nailed it! I need one of these for my son-in-law. He's a l8 ;)
the newspaper "bubbles", were already on the paper?? either way they look amazing and really add to the overall look of the card!! the gift and star are perfect, i like the placement of those 2 embellishments and the colors!!
This is a perfect card for a male. I love it!
I would think it hard, too, but you've given us all some great ideas with this card. I don't think you can go wrong. Well done, Connie!
Masculine cards are darn hard, but I've told you before you've got it nailed. Love the layering, the DSP. Everything about this says 18 year old male.
A great card Connie ...
All the best Jan
I feel the same thing that others have said before me! It's perfect! Great choice for the age... (I always struggle with them too...any masculine card!
Guy cards are hard for me as well --- mainly because I always want to add flower accents or other girly things to my cards!
Your card is perfect though!
I know what you mean about being challenged for boys turning 18 and trying to come up with birthday cards. You did great with this present and the sentiment.
